Train Like a Dog to Look like a God

Train Like a Dog to Look Like a God

FOREWORD

My next few Blogs entitled ” Train Like a Dog to Look Like a God ” are being developed to become a ebook by myself. The title came about after being in the industry over 5 years continuing my education in strength and conditioning, nutrition and fitness. Before being in the fitness industry I went to University where I was told I have a mild form of Dyslexia-Dyslexia is a common learning difficulty that mainly affects the way people read and spell words. This is how the title came about ” Train Like a God to Look Like a God ” but I first wrote it out as “Train Like a Dog to Look Like a God” and this is the first instalment.

Train Like a Dog to Look Like a God – the dyslexic trainers manual to add lean tissue and reduce body fat!

This Train Like a Dog to Look Like a God blog is focusing on training weak points and is thus named Achilles Heel.

Achilles Heel

In Greek Mythology Achilles was the bravest, handsomest, and greatest warrior of the army of Agamemnon in the Trojan War. I won’t bore you with the whole story of Achilles but his death came from a fatal arrow aimed at the Hero’s only weak point: his heel.

When training looking to achieve the body of your dreams you need to do the exercises and train the muscle groups you do not enjoy doing and this is usually because this is your weak point. So stop training your chest 3 times a week and start training your back, legs and shoulders.  These will make you appear bigger, help with your posture so you stand bigger and will help release hormones that will make your muscles grow.

So, what are your least favourite exercises? What are your weak points? – Take a few minutes to look at these now add exercises in that are going to fix these weak points, look at super setting them with exercises you enjoy in your programming. Get away from the Chest day, Leg day, Back Day, Shoulder Day and Arm Day. Try 4 weeks of 3 full body exercise routines having one big lift in each day (e.g. Squat, Chest Press, Squat) and 1 conditioning day (flip tires, battle ropes, prowler).
